Parking policy for the use of recreation ground facilities
This policy is designed to aid organisations and individuals using the facilities on the recreation
ground, including but not limited to, the pavilion, enclosure, football pitches, and picnic
benches, in highlighting the only permitted areas that are available for parking as stated below:
AREAS ALLOCATED FOR PERMITTED PARKING
● along pavilion lane from the car park at Shaftesbury Road to the area in front of the
pavilion.
● the car park at the Village Hall located in School Close and accessible via the pedestrian
crossing on the A322. This is not exclusive to users of the recreation ground.
● the car park at Shaftesbury Road which is owned and operated by Surrey Heath Borough
Council. This is not exclusive to users of the recreation ground.
Parking in Ford Road, Shaftesbury Road and Church Lane is not permitted at any time due to
safety concerns and out of consideration to our neighbours.
The parking area on the recreation ground is private parking for residents only and this is clearly
signed as such.
When parking, please be considerate of other users of the area, particularly pedestrians and
horse-riders.
Bisley Parish Council does not accept any liability for damage or theft caused to vehicles or
their contents by vehicles parking in council leased areas. (Pavilion Lane and the car park at the
Village Hall)
Council reserves the right to refuse use of the facilities for breach of this policy if necessary.
