9. RECREATION, PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT
(a) Pavilion Improvement Plan
To REVIEW quotations received for the remedial work required at the pavilion and DECIDE what
action to take.
(b) Surrey County Council Parish and Town Council Biodiversity Study
To DISCUSS the Collaborating for Nature Survey and AGREE a response.
(c) Result of pond audit
To REVIEW the audit carried out by Surrey Wildlife Trust and DECIDE if further action is required.
(d) D Day 80th Commemoration
To RECEIVE an update on arrangements in place and CONFIRM final details prior to the event
on Thursday 6th June.
(e) Football on the recreation ground.
To RECEIVE an update on the request for football facilities from Woking Cougars.
(f) Planning Application 24/0491/GPD
To CONSIDER the above application for a phone mast and additional equipment to be
erected on land adjacent to Church Lane (reports by email)
10. ADMINISTRATION / FINANCE
(a) The Hive baby and toddler group
To AGREE to purchase a small table for the Hive to be stored by the Village Hall.
(b) Standing orders
To REVIEW and APPROVE or make any amendments necessary.
(c) Financial regulations
To NOTE the delay in receiving the new financial regulations from NALC. These will be reviewed
at a future meeting.
(d) Code of conduct
To REVIEW and APPROVE, or make any amendments necessary.
(e) Balance Scorecard Priorities
To REVIEW progress made on the Councils priorities and AGREE any necessary updates.
(f) Zurich Insurance
To NOTE the renewal insurance premium for the upcoming year commencing 1st June 2024.
(g) Strawberry Fayre
To CONSIDER a request from the Strawberry Fayre committee for a donation towards the costs
of running the event.
(h) Limited Assurance Review
To CONFIRM the period for the exercise of public rights and to NOTE the revised dated
commencing Wednesday 5th June and ending Tuesday 16th July.
(i) Payment of Accounts and Financial Statement
To NOTE the financial position on 30th April 2024, to APPROVE the payments and AUTHORISE
the signing of cheques.
