1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
2. DECLARATION OF INTERESTS by Councillors on any of the agenda items.
3. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS – to AGREE the minutes of the Annual Meeting of the
Council held on Monday 13
th May 2024.
4. REPORTS FROM BOROUGH AND COUNTY COUNCILLORS, CLERK AND RFO
5. RECREATION, PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT
a) Extension of the footpath from the pond onto the recreation ground
To CONSIDER whether to extend the cinder track leading from the pond to connect
footpath 139 and bridleway 140 to the hardstanding area in front of the properties on
the recreation ground.
b) Recreation ground facilities
i) To AGREE terms of operation and pricing for the multi-use games arena
ii) To AGREE terms of operation and pricing for the 11 a side football pitch for the
2024/2025 season
iii) To AGREE terms of operation and pricing for the training pitch and lights
iv) To REVIEW charges for the pavilion and AGREE any necessary changes.
(c) D Day 80th Commemoration
To CONFIRM the final arrangements for the event on Thursday 6th June.
(d) Woking Cougars football team
i) To REVIEW and ADOPT the parking policy in conjunction with the request from
Woking Cougars for use of the football pitches.
ii) To AGREE if you wish to issue the team a contract for the upcoming season.
6. ADMINISTRATION / FINANCE
(a) Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance
To NOTE the letter of thanks received from the Air Ambulance following Council’s
recent donation.
(b) Citizen of the Year Award
To AGREE the winner of this years Citizen of the Year Award.
(c) Financial Regulations
To REVIEW, AMEND if necessary and ADOPT the new financial regulations as updated
by the National Association of Local Councils (NALC).
(d) Foxcubs Nursery at Bisley C of E primary school
To CONSIDER a request for a donation to provide toys from Foxcubs Nursery.
(e) Internal Audit
i) To CONFIRM the appointment of the Internal Auditor and
ii) To RECEIVE and NOTE the report from the Internal Auditor and completion and
signing off of the Annual Internal Audit Report, section 3 of the Annual Governance by
the Internal Auditor.
(f) Limited Assurance Regime/External Audit for the year ended 31st March 2024
To APPROVE:
(i) The Annual Governance Statement, section 1 of the AGAR 2023/24 and then
(ii) The Accounting Statements, section 2 of the AGAR 2023/24
and To NOTE that sections 1,2 and 3 of AGAR 2023/24 will be published on the Parish
Council’s website and also on the noticeboards by Sainsbury’s and the Village Hall
prior to commencement of the period for the exercise of public rights and then
submitted to the External Auditors.
(g) Payment of Accounts and Financial Statement
To NOTE the financial position on 31st May 2024, to APPROVE the payments and
AUTHORISE the signing of cheques
