4. REPORTS FROM BOROUGH AND COUNTY COUNCILLORS, CLERK AND RFO
5. RECREATION, PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT
a) Road safety in Bisley
i) To CONSIDER the implementation of a VAS speed monitoring system (report
attached)
ii) To CONSIDER the installation of child effect bollards (report attached)
iii) To CONSIDER the placement of a mirror on Church Lane to aid pedestrians
crossing to access the village green. (report attached)
(b) Cricket wicket on the recreation ground
To REVIEW quotes received for the refurbishment of the cricket wicket and to DECIDE
how to proceed. (report enclosed).
(c) The multi-use games arena
To CONSIDER the request from Badshot Lea FC regarding use of the MUGA (report
attached)
(d) Pavilion works
To REVIEW the work recently completed and to CONSIDER undertaking the snagging
list provided by the contractors (report attached) and to DETERMINE whether
i) To ACCEPT the sealed quotation from the previous contractor to complete the work
ii) To REQUEST for further quotations to be obtained and returned to a future meeting.
(e) Drainage at the car park at the Village Hall
To REVIEW the report into the two soakaways in the car park and CONSIDER if any
further action is required. (report to follow)
6. ADMINISTRATION / FINANCE
(a) Correspondence
i) To NOTE the letter of thanks from the Teas on the Rec team
ii) To NOTE the letter of thanks from Norman Holden regarding the recent D Day
events.
iii) To NOTE that the Almac Brass Band and Bisley Residents Association have
requested use of the Village Green for their Brass on the Grass event on Sunday 14th
July and the Band have provided the relevant insurance documents.
(b) Payment of Accounts and Financial Statement
To NOTE the financial position on 30th June 2024, to APPROVE the payments and
AUTHORISE the signing of cheques.
(c) Quarterly bank reconciliation and expenditure and income April – June 2024
