Bisley is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Surrey Heath, between Woking and
Camberley. It has an area of 3.66km² (1.41 sq. miles). Bisley Parish Council serves a
population of approximately 4,000.


The village has a popular recreation ground, village green and children’s play space. At the
heart of the village is the war memorial and millennium clock, the local pub and a small
parade of shops. There is a primary school, village hall and scout and guide headquarters.
The late 12 th Century church, St John the Baptist has a medieval bell and the nearby spring, Holy Well, is said to have medicinal powers.

The community spirit of Bisley thrives with a number of local organisations and voluntary
groups and is famous for its Teas on the Rec in the summer months.
